Sit Means Sit Dog Training Elkton-Delaware is part of the largest dog and puppy training franchise in the United States with over 140 locations. Our trainers understand that every dog is different and unique in their personality and behaviors, so we work together to form a customized training program that will fit your goals. Our programs range from basic puppy training to extended-stay board and training. We also specialize in behavioral issues such as separation anxiety, aggression, and fear/reactivity.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Dog Trainer in Elkton Maryland. The Dog Trainer will be responsible for training dogs of various breeds and temperaments, ensuring proper pet care, and providing excellent customer service. Day-to-day tasks include conducting training sessions, observing and assessing animal behavior, developing training plans, and communicating effectively with pet owners.

Qualifications

• Dog Training and Animal Behavior skills
• Experience in Pet Care
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Excellent observation and assessment abilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in working with various breeds and temperaments
• Relevant certification is a plus
